Paul Goldman
Founder and Chief Executive Officer, iTmethods. Paul Goldman is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of iTmethods, a Toronto company that has operated mission-critical engineering platforms since 2005. The firm runs the systems banks, capital markets firms, insurers, life sciences companies, technology and semiconductor manufacturers, retailers and public-sector organizations depend on, under the customer's change control and inside the customer's trust boundary. That operating discipline now extends to agentic AI. Under Goldman, iTmethods builds Reign, a set of capabilities that operate the customer's engineering estate, contribute defined software work into the customer's own approval path, and apply agreed controls to the model and tool calls agents make in production. He is a persistent advocate for a distinction most enterprises have not yet drawn: sovereignty is a claim about who holds an asset. Assurance is a claim about what happened to it. An institution can own every layer of its stack and still be unable to show that a specific action met the requirement it was given. Goldman writes The Trust Layer, a weekly series on governing agentic AI in regulated industries. iTmethods is a member of the Linux Foundation, FINOS and the Agentic AI Foundation.
